At New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, they are currently showing Michaelangelo’s first painting called “The Torment of Saint Anthony.”  The painting is said to have been made circa 1487 – 1488 and it’s definitely worth checking out.  The painting will be on display until September and then it’ll go on a brief world tour before returning to the Met to become part of its permanent collection.  You can read more about this wonderful discovery here.
