The world of rock and roll has lost one of the greats today as Les Paul, who invented the solid body electric guitar, has passed away at the age of 94.
I was fortunate enough to see Les Paul live in one of his legendary Monday night gigs at the Iridium Jazz Club in New York City. Â I had no idea at the time it would turn out to be one of his final performances.
