I don’t just hang out with rock stars and artists, I also hang out with film directors too. Tonight, I met the fabulous Spanish director Pedro Almodovar.
Almodovar has directed such films as “Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down!” “All About My Mother,” “Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown,” “Volver,” “Talk To Her,” and his most recent film is “Broken Promises.”
Pedro Almodovar gave a speech at the New York Film Festival to talk about his work. He cited John Cassavettes and Ingmar Bergman as two of his greatest influences. He started to mention his controversial feelings towards Roman Polanski, but then quickly changed the subject by telling the sold out room that he recently dined with Madonna.
