Tie-Died Empire State Building

In the city of blinding lights, also known as New York, the Empire State Building decided to dedicate their colors tonight (October 19, 2009) in honor of an upcoming exhibit by the Grateful Dead.  For one night only, the ever changing lighting scheme of this famous landmark has gone tie-died to honor the Dead.  In reality, they just used a bunch of colors and I must say, it’s pretty cool looking.  If you were walking around the city, you don’t worry that your hamburger was spiked with LSD.  However, it probably contained other things in it that are less than safe for consumption.
