Failed Bands

To celebrate the holidays, Gail and I jammed in the studio with our new fake band THX GVG, but our session was short-lived.  We posed for the above publicity shot, but we just couldn’t get our first single off the ground.

The song was called  ”(Hpy) Thanksgiving.”  The lyrics went:

Hpy (Hpy Hpy Hpy)

I can’t afford an A or a P

This is not the holiday for me

Because it’s all about giving

I’m not going to stop living

If I don’t give thanks on this day

I’ve got too much to say

So I’ll say it every day

And not just wait for Thanksgiving.

(Hpy, Hpy, Hpy)

{Repeat to fade}

It might not have been a hit, but it’s surely the way I feel.  Who knows, maybe 2010 will see a reunion of Las Mierdas?  Stay tuned.

And if you celebrate this ghastly holiday, please be careful, don’t stuff yourselves with too much garbage and have a happy Thanksgiving!
