This show was AMAZING. It sounds really cheesy to say it, but in a time when massive Broadway musicals are almost always disappointing and short-lived, this is the type of show that makes me think live theatre will be okay after all. It's hilarious, and the cast was brilliant. Joe's Pub is a great venue for it (I had never been there before), but this type of show needs a running engagement so that more people can see it. Hilarious, Inventive, and PAULA ABDUL BLACKWOOD! I saw it on the 11th too! This show was AMAZING. It was by far the greatest thing I've ever witnessed in my life. As promised it was full of history, vampires and Paula Abdul. I was surprised with how funny it was and how well the songs actually fit in with the story. If this ends up playing in the city again I will definitely be dragging everyone I know with me to see it again. I went to the Feb 11th show.
