2 Wings

I recently met Matthew Heckart, the supremely talented designer, who is putting together a project on his website. The project is called “Two Wings.”  For those too lazy to click onto the site, here’s what you need to know:

Two Wings is a project to educate the public about LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered) refugees and asylum seekers.

The Two Wings Project is creating a series of short animated films that depict the stories of LGBT refugees. Each film will show the journey of an individual from a different region; the first series of four videos are about Iran, Iraq, Jamaica, and Zimbabwe.

The films will be premiered in the summer of 2010.

This looks cool and it’s for a good cause.  My two favorite things!  We’ll keep you posted when we learn more about this exciting project.
