Elizabeth Harper of Class Actress

When I first saw Class Actress a few months ago, I fell in love with the funky beats and ethereal vocals of lead singer Elizabeth Harper and I’ve been listening to their album “Journal of Ardency” quite a bit ever since. On April 28, 2010, Class Actress opened for VV Brown at the Bowery Ballroom in New York and I am happy to report that they were just as good, the second time around.  They performed their soon to be classics – Careful What You Say, Journal of Ardency and Let me Take You Out for the adoring crowd who was hooked after one song.  Elizabeth Harper has already been branded by critics as “Brooklyn’s very own Madonna,” and I definitely think she has star quality.  I’m very excited for what the future holds for this band.  I met Elizabeth Harper after the show and she was extremely nice, but more on that later.
