On April 28, 2010 at New York’s Bowery Ballroom, the always fabulous Amanda Warner (aka MNDR) opened for VV Brown.  I saw MNDR a month ago  and at the time, I wasn’t too familiar with her music.  However, I liked what I heard and when I saw her tonight, I was once again groovin’ and dancing to her music.  For lack of a better description, her music reminds me of pre-botox and plastic surgery Madonna which is a good thing, according2g.  MNDR played her hits “Black Flag” and “Jump In” as well as a song dedicated to Patty Hearst.  It’s not too often that you get to hear that at a rock and roll concert. MNDR also had a really cool projection screen behind her that was very trippy.  The crowd also liked what they heard and I can envision that we’ll be hearing a lot more about MNDR in the coming year.

I wonder if MNDR is on Grindr?
