Bad Veins live at the Bowery Ballroom

On May 12, 2010, Cincinnati rockers Bad Veins opened for Two Door Cinema Club at New York’s Bowery Ballroom.  The band has been all the buzz on every hip blog from here to eternity and they definitely live up to it.  I saw something new tonight on stage as well.  Lead singer Benjamin Davis (pictured above) had some sort of electronic contraption that was attached to a phone and he was able to sing through it making distorted vocals.  That was pretty cool.  Also, drummer Sebastian Schultz played the shit out of the drums.  He was drumming so hard, I could see wood chips from his drumsticks flying through the air!  I might have been rockin’ out from the front row just a little bit.  On their official site you can find links to official mp3s for free, so give them a spin and decide for yourself.
