G Meets Singer James Graham of The Twilight Sad

Moments after leaving the stage for a brilliant set, I met lead singer James Graham of the Scottish band The Twilight Sad at New York’s Bowery Ballroom on May 30, 2010.  As I mentioned in a previous post, I was unfamiliar with the band’s music and by the end of the performance, I snatched up two albums that were being sold at the merch table.  The Twilight Sad’s music is very dark with screeching guitars, slow builds and climactic endings, but lead singer James Graham was extremely nice.  If you like the Velvet Underground, you should check out this band on the rise.  Thanks again to James Graham for being really cool and for turning me into a fan!
