Foreclosed by Alison Elizabeth Taylor now at the James Cohan Gallery in NYC through June 19, 2010.

In American artist Alison Elizabeth Taylor’s latest solo exhibition “Foreclosed,” which is now showing at the James Cohan Gallery in New York, Taylor predicts the future.  I keep reading on the internet that some time in 2011, a major real estate crash is going to happen – so it must be true.  They always say that life imitates art and in addition to being a brilliant artist, Alison Elizabeth Taylor will soon be seen as a visionary.  Her style is really interesting in that she uses a technique that was popularized in the Renaissance period whereby she uses wood inlay in her works.  There are many other cool works in this exhibit that are not pictured here, so head on over to the James Cohan Gallery at 533 West 26th Street to see this exhibit.  Foreclosed runs until June 19, 2010.
