Brooklyn based rockers Bad Girlfriend didn’t have to travel very far to open for We Are Scientists at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn on July 17, 2010. The all female quartet got the crowd warmed up and ready to rock as they played songs such as “Pink Chocolate,” “Blonde Rocket” and “Love Life.” The band was very energetic and the audience rocked out to Bad Girlfriend’s 40 minute set. To add a bit of flavor to the mix, the band jammed with the second opening act Lightspeed Champion during one song and later called on We Are Scientists frontman Keith Murray for another. Obviously, the crowd lost their minds when that happened and I think the band added a lot more people to their growing army of fans.
