Pete Byrne of Naked Eyes and G

I was really excited to see Naked Eyes perform live as they’ve had songs such as “(What) In The Name of Love,” “Promises, Promises,” and “Always Something There To Remind Me,” which sound as fresh to me today as they did 25 years ago.  Naked Eyes and Wang Chung played a double bill of 1980s greatness at BB King’s in New York on July 7, 2010 and it was!  Right as I entered the venue, Pete Byrne was walking upstairs to get better cell phone reception. I asked for a photo and as you can see above, he was glad to oblige.  He also autographed a Naked Eyes CD for me and he was very nice!  Thanks so much Pete!  Naked Eyes have a new CD coming out soon called “Picadilly,” and I am excited for its release. Videos of “Always Something There To Remind Me,” and “Promises, Promises,” – acoustic – are coming soon.  Stay tuned!
