Ultimate Pet Shop Boys - Out November 1, 2010

Petheads!!!  Our favorite boys, Pet Shop Boys have revealed the tracklist for “Ultimate,” a new greatest hits collection.  “Ultimate” will feature only one new track, the song “Together.”  The set is due out on November 1, 2010 and the tracklist, courtesy of their official site, is:

West End girls
Suburbia
It’s a sin
What have I done to deserve this?
Always on my mind
Heart
Domino dancing
Left to my own devices
Being boring
Where the streets have no name (I can’t take my eyes off you)
Go West
Before
Se a vida  (That’s the way life is)
New York City boy
Home and dry
Miracles
I’m with stupid
Love etc.
Together

Pet Shop Boys are not ones to cheat their fans by making them buy an album just for one song.  They are also releasing a special edition CD/DVD package and the DVD will contain three hours of BBC TV performances by Pet Shop Boys, released by arrangement with BBC Music. I suppose I’ll be picking this up for the DVD stuff. IMO, They should have waited for the next album to do something like this. But I guess this could be a one stop shop for the casual fan.

Yeah… I am not loving the CD tracklist (as it looks like a label requirement), but you gotta love 3 hours of extras on the DVD! Who does that for their fans??? Certainly not another artist who had the same album title on his greatest hits album 😉
