The Hundred In The Hands

October 1, 2010 was a night of musical greatness at New York’s Terminal 5.  In addition to great sets from The Temper Trap and Delphic, New York natives The Hundred In The Hands got the night kicked off with some electronic funkiness.  The opening track ultimately had vocals but it started off with music and samples that were sung live.  It was like watching a remix being performed.  I had a smile on my face from that moment and all the way through The Hundred In The Hands’ 30 minute set.  They told the crowd how excited they were to be playing for us and the crowd reciprocated the love by dancing and shaking our groove thangs for their entire set.  Their self titled LP just came out on September 21, 2010 (the day after my birthday) and I am just about to sink my teeth (or ears, in this case) into it.  Looking forward to it.
