Editors to Release ‘Sexy’ Career Spanning Box Set

I’m so excited! Straight out of lead singer Tom Smith’s mouth, his band Editors will be releasing a career spanning box set in February 2011.  Though the band has only released 3 albums, they have tons of B-sides and unreleased tracks.  The 7 cd set (wow!) will be available for pre-order beginning December 2, 2010 on the Editors official website.  Tom Smith has also stated the band is working on a 4th album, so stay tuned for that.  Last but not least, quoting Tom, the collection will contain “Seven 12  heavy weight vinyls, seven CDs, a download of everything in high quality 320kbps mp3 format and a book of photos and words. It’s gonna be sexy.”  The first 200 pre-orders will receive a special personalised surprise from Tom.  Also, between now and February Editors are also selecting some special content that you can access and download for free by simply entering your email address on editorsofficial.com.
