I’m so glad I got the chance to see Canadian rockers Hollerado on November 24, 2010 at New York’s Bowery Ballroom. They rocked!  On a triple bill of awesome bands, Hollerado, Foxy Shazam and Free Energy gave us all an extra reason to be thankful, the night before Thanksgiving.  Hollerado took the stage at 9 pm and the indie rockers wasted no time getting the crowd dancing.  The band has shared the stage with Jack White’s band The Dead Weather, and based on the crowd reaction to Hollerado, I’d be surprised if they don’t have a huge following next year at this time.  If these words aren’t convincing enough, go to Hollerado’s official site and for the simple price of signing up on their mailing list, you can download two free tracks (“Juliette” and “Of Fake Drugs”).  Do it!

I met lead singer Menno Versteeg after Hollerado’s awesome set and he was really cool.  Thanks again Menno and good luck to you and Hollerado!  I expect to hear many more great things!
