Billy Idol
Clearly November 30 is a great day to be born. In addition to being the birthday of Ridley Scott, Ben Stiller, Robert Guillaume and Dick Clark, it’s also rocker Billy Idol’s birthday. Billy Idol turns 55 today and we wish him a very happy birthday. I can’t say Billy Idol is super friendly, but if you caught him at the right time, you might be able to squeeze an autograph out of him. Regardless, I love his music so much (except for that really horrible cover of “LA Woman” by the Doors) and he’s always great in concert. It’s especially amazing that after drug addiction and a really bad motorcycle crash, Billy Idol made a full recovery and is still able to rock. It’s hard to pick a favorite Billy Idol song, but I definitely think before the day is over I’ll listen to “Rebel Yell,” “Blue Highway,” “Catch My Fall” and “Flesh For Fantasy.” Happy birthday, Billy!!

Robert Guillaume
Actor Robert Guillaume who is best known for his roles on “Soap” and “Benson” celebrates his 83rd birthday today. According2g wishes him a very happy birthday. I’ve met Robert Guillaume on many occasions and you’d think he’d be a bit moody like his character on Benson, and yet he was extremely nice every time I ever saw him! I love when that happens! Another great thing is that Robert Guillaume is still working! He has 2 projects that just finished filming. Love that! Happy birthday Robert!

Ben Stiller
Happy 45th birthday to actor Ben Stiller who celebrates his birthday on the final day of November. Though I like Ben Stiller as a person, I am so tired of the lowest-common-denominator-humor that is peppered throughout his films. I think it’s great that he can be so self deprecating, but I am so over seeing movies where someone farts and that’s supposed to be the punch line. That just insults my intelligence, but it doesn’t insult America’s intelligence and all of his movies make millions. Good for you Ben and happy birthday!

Ridley Scott
Happy 73rd birthday to film director Ridley Scott. He’s directed movies that I loved like “Blade Runner,” “Alien,” “Hannibal” and “Thelma And Louise.” He’s also directed some films I didn’t care for such as “Gladiator,” which I’ve always called Glad He Ate Her. One thing is certain about Ridley Scott, he was cool when I met him. Happy birthday Ridley!
