Bowery and Houston Mural

The mural on Bowery and Houston has changed again.  This reminds me of that scene from the movie Airplane where the breaks go out as the plane lands and they announce over the PA system that the flight is landing at gate 3, 4, 5…

This year, the wall at Bowery and Houston in New York has been a mural by Os Gemeos, Shepard Fairey, Barry McGee, Adek and now the image you see above.  The artist is Kenny Scharf, who just celebrated his birthday yesterday!  Hope it stays up for at least 24 hours.  There’s a good chance that it’ll be something new in a few days.
