LaRoux’ 2009 Song Nominated For A 2011 Grammy!

Whoever does fact checking at the Grammy organization should be fired IMMEDIATELY!  I’ve only quickly skimmed the list of nominees and I’ve noted 3 really obvious mistakes.  1.  LaRoux, whose track “In For The Kill” is nominated for best dance song at the 2011 Grammys, was released in 2009.  2. Florence and the Machine, nominated for 2011 Best New Artist also released their debut album in 2009.  I’m pretty sure every award that Lady Gaga is nominated for is also in the wrong year because her “Fame Monster” EP was also released in 2009.  That brings us to mistake number 3 (cue the Culture Club song)…  Lady Gaga’s “The Fame Monster” is an EP and it’s being nominated for Album of the Year!  Who came up with this list?!  And so many of my friends in the music industry are out of work!  It’s time for a revolution.
