Picture it: It’s 28 degrees outside, the day after a blizzard. New York declares offices are closed for a snow day. The roads are icy and people are staying in doors until conditions get better. Not me! I went to meet Peter Bjorn and John! I love all 5 of their studio albums (and album number 6 is coming out on March 29, 2011) and I’ve seen them in concert 3 times. The Swedish pop/rock trio were SUPER nice, autographing all of my CDs for me and taking photos too! They were impressed that I had “Seaside Rock,” an instrumental album they did that was very hard to find in the United States. Of course I had it, I HEART THEM! Thanks so much PB and J!

I loved their song “Young Folks” a couple years back but I had no idea that the name was from each member. I guess there really is a Peter, Bjorn, & John.

“Writer’s Block” is their most commercial album to date (that also features “Young Folks”). That’s a good place to start and if you like that record, you’ll most likely become a die-hard.
