Happy 46th Birthday, Dr. Dre

Happy 46th birthday to Andre Young, better known as Dr. Dre.  Coincidentally, I’ve been listening to a lot of NWA music lately and though the lyrics tend to be pretty hateful, you can’t deny the funky beats and the great vocal deliveries from Dr. Dre, MC Ren, Yella and Eazy-E.  I’ll be sure to listen to “Niggaz4life,” “One Less Bitch” and “Findem, Fuckem and Flee.”  Since these songs were put out for sale and I paid for them, I will not feel any white man’s guilt about singing lyrics such as “I’m a nigga, you’re a nigga, wouldn’t you like to be a nigga too?” out loud when I am in public today.  Happy birthday Dre! Give me a funky ass bassline!
