Single Fare 2: Please Swipe Again. Now showing at Sloan Fine Art in NYC through March 26, 2011

After the tremendous success of last year’s “Single Fare,” an exhibit comprised of hundreds of artists making art on used MTA Subway cards, Sloan Fine Art in New York is now presenting the sequel:  “Single Fare 2: Please Swipe Again.”  The opening night gala on March 17, 2011 was quite a scene.  Proceeds from the sales last night benefited Transportation Alternatives (transalt.org) and Alliance for the Arts’ NYC ARTS (NYC-ARTS.org) and the gallery was packed to the rafters for art afficianados to add to their collections while raising money for great causes.

  • Gail said,

This was another very cool exhibit that I will need to see again when there are fewer than 800 people in the room. 😀
