Canis Mortuus Familiaris

"Canis Mortuus Familiaris" by Jeremy Dower. Now showing at Bold Hype Gallery in NYC.

Jeremy Dower is a multi-talented Australian artist whose disciplines include painting, sculpture, video and music.  His latest solo exhibit at the Bold Hype Gallery is entitled “Canis Mortuus Familiaris” and it’s very cool.  The works are digital prints using archival ink on ‘Museo’ cotton rag, with UV coating.  As you probably guessed from the title, the exhibit features dogs.  Dogs of all shapes, sizes and colors and you will want to adopt all of them.

I had the opportunity to meet Jeremy Dower at the opening night reception and I complimented him on the visual treats he created for all of us.  He was very nice.  See a photo of that moment after the jump.  Also, you can see more photos from the exhibit on The Worley Gig.
