What Graffiti is to New York - Street Art is to Los Angeles. Coming May 28, 2011

Los Angeles!  Save the date for an art show that is bound to be epic.  Melrose and Fairfax are curating their first exhibit entitled “What Graffiti is to New York – Street Art is to Los Angeles.”  The opening night gala reception will be May 28, 2011 at the Maximillian Gallery in the lobby of the Sunset Marquis hotel in Los Angeles.  It’s no secret that street art scene in Los Angeles is currently in a modern day Renaissance period and this exhibit plans to celebrate with some of the hottest and most prolific names on the scene.

The list of artists participating in the show is huge and long time readers of this site will be more than well acquainted with these names:
