Superhumanoids

On March 31, 2011, Los Angeles based band Superhumanoids opened for Cults and Magic Kids at New York’s Mercury Lounge.  It was my first exposure to their music and I enjoyed what I heard.  Their music is dreamy pop with influences of 60’s and New Wave thrown in the mix.  Vocal duties were shared between Cameron Parkins (who sang most songs) and Sarah Chernoff.  When Sarah belted out her numbers, you could hear a pin drop inside the noisy venue.  You can judge for yourself and download a free mp3 called “Malta” courtesy of Boots N’ Katz while supplies last.
