Photos by G. Various Artists.
Lovers of street art have just hit the motherlode! The largest street art gallery in the United States (6,500 square feet) called Lab Art in Los Angeles recently opened its doors. I don’t even know where to begin in describing it because your mind will be blown when you enter Lab Art. The space is enormous, the art is fantastic and very reasonably priced, the vibe is creative and inviting and the staff are friendly and passionate about the artists represented inside their gallery.
Lab Art currently has works from some of the hottest street artists on the scene on display including AJL, Alec Monopoly, Army of One-JC2, Cali Killa, Carlos Ulloa, Chad Muska, Cibass, Common Cents, Cristian “SMEAR” Gheorghiu, Cyrcle, Daniel Siboni, DD’$, Desire Obtain Cherish, Destroy All Design, Dog Byte, Felix, Fragile Art, Gregory Siff, Haculla, Inept Art, Jonny D1G1TAL, K H Number 7, Kai Aspire, LOUIS XXX, MAR, Nomade, RABI, Sean D’Anconia, Stu Rad, Swift Art, Thank You X, VARP and XVALA. The art is changing constantly and more and more artists are being added to this illustrious lineup.
Over the coming weeks, I’ll be posting photos of some of the works by these great artists, so please be patient. I was advised that the art will change on a monthly basis and the next exhibit will feature female street artists! Bookmark Lab Art’s official website for the latest news on this amazing place. Lab Art is located on 217 South La Brea in Los Angeles on Monday & Tuesday by appointment; Wednesday to Friday, 11am to 7pm; Saturday, 11am to 8pm, and Sunday 11am to 6pm. Make sure you have plenty of time to peruse the gallery as there is so much great art to see. If you don’t live in Los Angeles, I highly recommend booking a trip to check out the gallery. You won’t be disappointed. Tell them G sent you!
