80 years ago on May 1, 1931, The Empire State Building in New York opened its doors to the public for the first time. As a transplant to New York, I have to admit, it never gets old looking at the historic building. When you are out and about on your adventures in the city, the building can be seen from so many different views reaching near and far – and all of them are breathtaking. I am not a fan of doing touristy things when I travel to different cities, but I highly recommend a trip to the top of this iconic building. The views are extremely gorgeous! Happy birthday ESB!
