Fans of artist Scooter LaForge are about to have a great summer. In conjunction with the upcoming exhibit “QUEER: FROM ZERO TO A HUNDRED,” Scooter LaForge will be releasing the first pictorial collection of his work. The self-titled book “Scooter LaForge,” will feature Scooter’s celebrity collaborations, paintings and some of his iconic fashions. “Scooter LaForge” is a limited edition, so you won’t want to miss your change to get this highly collectible book. It will be on sale at the Theater for the New City for $60 or in a deluxe edition for $100 (which comes with a limited edition T-Shirt designed by Scooter).
The opening night reception for “QUEER FROM ZERO TO A HUNDRED” will take place on June 21, 2011 from 6 to 8 PM at Theater for the New City located at 155 1st Avenue in New York. The exhibit will feature works from Scooter LaForge, Johnny Rozsa, Aaron Miller, Barnaby Whitfield, Pete Hocking, Julie Smith, Peter J. Ketchum, Ricky Longo-Burrows and Tracy Phillips. The exhibit will close on August 9, 2011.
