Oliver Stone

Oliver Stone

I used to really love Oliver Stone’s movies.  He experienced war, had a love for counterculture and was a big fan of The Doors.  He went on to make a bio-pic about Jim Morrison that was way more fiction than fact and introduced the Doors as a drug band to a new generation of fans instead of focusing on the groundbreaking music they made in a very short time.  It was almost forgivable but years later, Stone made a movie about George W. Bush  that attempts to ask the audience for sympathy for one of the most loathsome creatures that has walked the face of the earth since Hitler.  Disgusting, according2g!  Oops.  I am on my soap box again.  Perhaps he’ll snap out of it and make a return to making good movies…
