Review: M83 live at Music Hall of Williamsburg

There was no better way to spend the night before Thanksgiving than at Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn to see the very sold-out performance of electronic/dream pop M83 on November 23, 2011.  M83 is the brain child of French musician Anthony Gonzalez.  His hour and a half set had a really cool light show that consisted of a flashing and starry backdrop while he and the band played dance music that had the entire venue shaking their moneymakers.  Highlights of the show were his new hit single “Midnight City” as well as the classic “Kim and Jessie.”  Everyone had a sweatty good time to usheher in the holiday and for that, I am thankful!
