An Encounter with Salman Rushdie

I love New York!  I was at an art opening the other night and I ran into writer Salman Rushdie.  He was extremely cool during our brief chat.  I find it interesting that he is still wanted in some Middle Eastern countries for the words he’s written when many of those same places mistreat women and gays and try to impose a “our way or the highway” set of rigid laws and rules.  Kudos to Salman for speaking his mind.  You’re an inspiration, according2g. Thanks again!
