New York! If you’re a lover of street art, do not even think about missing “Streets of the World” at the Opera Gallery in New York. The Opera Gallery is known for really great exhibits, and once again they do not disappoint. “Streets of the World” unites the works of 40 contemporary artists that have emerged from the Street Art Movement.
The artists participating in the exhibit are:
Los Angeles: Augustine Kofie, David Choe, Saber; Detroit: Revok; Washington DC: Mark Jenkins; Baltimore: Logan Hicks; New York: Ron English, Swoon, Faile, Eric Haze, David Ellis, Trustocorp, Mare 139; The Netherlands: The London Police; UK: Banksy, Nick Walker, Paul Insect, Remi Rough; Germany: Herakut, How and Nosm; Belgium: Roa; France: Blek Le Rat; Spain: Hyuro, Liquen, Sixeart; Portugal: Vhils; Greece: b., Alexandros Vasmoulakis; Israel: Know Hope; Ukraine: Interesni Kazki; China: DALeast; Japan: Aiko; Australia: Kid Zoom, Anthony Lister, Rone.
This was the first time I got to see a lot of works by these artists in person and it was really cool to see the art so many A-Listers in one space.
After the jump, see even more photos!
