Photos by G. Art by Beth Cavener Stichter.
The art of Beth Cavener Sticther has to be seen in person to fully appreciate the detail (and the awesomeness). Her latest exhibit “Come Undone” at the Claire Oliver Gallery in New York is definitely something you will want to see as the gallery has been taken over by the dark side of human emotion… cloaked in animal skin!
The mixed media works are primarily made out of stoneware and when you see them in person, not only will you be wowed by the detail, but you will wonder how the pieces were transported and installed.
Check out these works in person at Clare Oliver, located at 513 West 26th Street in New York. “Come Undone” by Beth Cavener Stichter is showing through October 20, 2012.
I met Beth at the opening reception and she was cool enough to pose for a picture in front of her amazing hanging sculpture called “The Adoration” which features sugar, lights and crystals. I told you that you have to see this exhibit in person and I was not kidding! Thanks again Beth!
