If you grew up in the 80s like I did, Bananarama are not just mere mortals – they are musical goddesses. I was literally moments from drifting off into that gentle good night for the evening when my phone rang and my friend said “Did you know that Bananarama is minutes away from your house right now?”  No sooner did I put the phone down, but I got dressed, jumped in a cab and less than 30 minutes later, I was meeting two ladies who’ve rocked my world for over 25 years.  Bananarama are in town to perform a show at New York’s Hard Rock Cafe’ tonight (October 2, 2012) so adjust your wild life and don’t miss this rare chance to see the goddesses on the mountain top live in this cruel summer (excuse the puns, I can’t help it!  I’m tripping on their love).

Thanks Karen and Sara for being so awesome in so many ways and please don’t stay away so long next time!
