Photos by G. Memorabilia from Stanley Kubrick’s films.
Los Angeles! If you are a fan of the films of Stanley Kubrick, you must check out an exhibit of Kubrick memorabilia at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Props, set pieces, costumes, script notes, shooting schedules and tons of ephemera from all of Kubrick’s movies are represented in this exhibit as well as many of the cameras he used to make his beloved films.
My favorite parts of the exhibit were the “Clockwork Orange” and “the Shining” areas, but if “Full Metal Jacket” or “Eyes Wide Shut” was your thing, never fear, the infamous helmet shown on “Full Metal Jacket’s” poster is on view as well as the masks worn in “Eyes Wide Shut” can be seen.
Stanley Kubrick is showing at LACMA (located at 5905 Wilshire Blvd) in Los Angeles through June 30, 2013. Don’t miss it!
