Two Cool Exhibits: Haroshi and Aakash Nihalani at Jonathan Levine Gallery
Photos by G. Art by Haroshi and Aakash Nihalani, respectively.
The Jonathan Levine Gallery is doing what they do best, pairing two totally different types of artists under one roof for two great exhibits. In this case, they are showing new works by Japanese artist Haroshi as well as new works by New York based artist Aakash Nihalani.
Aakash Nihalani’s exhibit is entitled “Portal” and you may have seen his geometrically inclined work from the streets of the world.
In Haroshi’s exhibit “Virtual Reality,” the artist created wooden sculptures made out of skateboard decks!
Both of these exhibits are on display at Jonathan Levine Gallery (located at 529 West 20th Street, 9E in Manhattan) through February 9, 2013.
As I tend to do when I go out, I met both artists and they were super cool. You can see photos after the jump.
Congratulations on great exhibits and thanks for chatting with me guys!
