Frances Sternhagen and Geoffrey Dicker

Recently I met two time Tony Award winning actress Frances Sternhagen.  Maybe she’s not a house hold name to you, but she’s been in 3 of my favorite shows: Cheers (as Cliff Clavin’s mother), Stephen King’s ’90s mini-series “Golden Years” and on Sex and the City as Bunny MacDougal.  All three roles were quite diverse and Frances was great in each one.  She’s currently in an off-Broadway production of a show called “The Madrid,” which is the story of trying to see people in your family as they really are and not what you want them to be.  See Frances Sternhagen in the flesh in “The Madrid” which is playing at the Manhattan Club Theater in NYC through May 5, 2013.  Thanks Frances!  It was great to meet you!
