Back in the 1990s, Duran Duran’s Nick Rhodes and at the time Durannie Warren Cuccurullo recorded an album together as a soundtrack to a bizarre TV cyber soap opera about a family who give away their freedom to scientists in exchange for reality TV show fame. The duo called themselves TV Mania and the album was called “Bored With Prozac and the Internet?” The album was scrapped at the time and has recently been unearthed and will see the light of day on March 11, 2013. The lead single “Beautiful Clothes” has been remixed by According2G favorite MNDR and you can hear the mix on Spin.com. You can also sample the whole album on TV Mania’s official site as well as order limited edition packages. It’s almost eerie how contemporary this album considering the record was conceived nearly 20 years ago. They don’t call Nick Rhodes a genius for nothing!
