Jessica Lichtenstein’s latest exhibit is entitled “Afterglow.”  Building on her previous body of work, Lichtenstein continues using well endowed female Japanese manga characters in her works, however this time around, the characters are hidden in the background of the works and they are only visible to the naked eye (pun intended) as soon as you take a closer look.

Also interesting about this exhibit is that Lichtenstein has created different sculptures this time (instead of sculptures of the characters, she has word sculptures) and instead of the characters being in your face, you have to examine the works closer to discover them as they are hiding everywhere, just waiting to be found.
