Hunter Parrish and Geoffrey Dicker
Happy birthday to actor/singer Hunter Parrish who was born on May 13. Hunter played Silas Botwin in one of my favorite shows “Weeds,” and it was fun watching his character grow up in the deliciously twisted series. Also born today: Stephen Colbert, Robert Pattinson, Stevie Wonder, Bea Arthur and Lena Dunham. Birthday greetings to all!

Method Man and Geoffrey Dicker
Happy birthday to rapper turned actor Method Man. Here are a few fun facts about Method Man: His real name is Clifford Smith; he’s the only MC to appear on Notorious BIG’s album “Ready To Die”; he’s appeared in over 20 films and TV shows and finally, he shares his April 1 birthday with Susan Boyle, Lon Chaney and Debbie Reynolds.
Happy birthday to all!

Luke Wilson and Geoffrey Dicker
I’m loving Luke Wilson’s green jacket! I met the actor the other night on a very chilly New York night, but he was cool enough to pose for a photo with me. Thanks for keeping it real Luke!

Ethan Hawke and Geoffrey Dicker
Happy birthday to actor Ethan Hawke who was born on November 6. What’s your favorite Ethan Hawke movie? I will probably go with “Reality Bites,” though I also really enjoyed films like “Gattaca” and “Great Expectations.”
It’s also Election Day today in the US, so do your duty today and vote. Ethan would want that. (The opinions here expressed are not those of Ethan Hawke, so get a grip!)

Gary Collins
Sad news out of Hollywood (via Mississippi). Actor and TV and Radio personality Gary Collins has died. I met Gary and his wife Mary Ann Mobley many times when I was a kid living in California and both Gary and Mary Ann were always very kind to their fans. RIP Gary!
