"Astral Flight Hangar" by Dev Harlan. Now showing at Christopher Henry Gallery in NYC through October 9, 2011

If you’ve seen Dev Harlan’s work before, your mouth has surely dropped open before.  If this is your first exposure to the wonderful world of Dev Harlan, let me start by saying, photos do nothing to capture the magic in his work.  In Dev Harlan’s exhibit “Astral Flight Hangar” at the Christopher Henry Gallery in New York you must prepare to be wowed when you see his works in person.  A giant figure resides in the center of the gallery on a reflective floor and the trippiest projections you can imagine are shown on the figure and reflect onto the walls and the floor.  You will not be able to take your eyes off this exhibit.

I met Dev at the opening night reception and I was able to tell him how much I love his work.  We even took a photo with his projections running over us!  I love my life!  You can see that photo after the jump.

Do not miss “Astral Flight Hangar” by Dev Harlan at the Christopher Henry Gallery (located at 127 Elizabeth Street) in New York.  The show runs until October 9, 2011.
