The biggest Icon of them all - Mr. Brainwash
In a previous post, I told you about my encounter with the coolest artist of our time, Mr. Brainwash. I urge you to go see his exhibit Icons, which is located at 415 West 13th Street in New York. The exhibit runs from now until the end of March.
After the jump, you will see the first installment of Icons (according to Mr. Brainwash). If you like any of the following artists, you’ll really get a kick out of these pictures: Barry White, Billie Holliday, Blondie, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Carlos Santana, Diana Ross, David Bowie or Dr. Dre. Prince and Jim Morrison can be seen here. Please note that all of these images were made by piecing together bits of broken vinyl records. How in the hell he pulled this off is anybody’s guess, but the results are stunning. Enjoy.
