Artless: The Exhibition now showing at the Sacred Gallery in NYC through June 27, 2010

The Sacred Gallery in New York has a really cool show called “Artless: The Exhibition” that is currently showing from now until June 27, 2010.  The gallery in an of itself is a work of art.  It’s part art gallery and part tattoo parlor.  I had to use all my restraint to not get another tattoo after viewing this exhibition.  What you’ll see at “Artless: The Exhibition” is a mixed media extravaganza from photography to painting. The above image is from an installation by Brian Balderston called “Place Is The Space,” where you walk into a room that is lit only by black light and when I entered, I was transported into another world that I was hesitant to leave.  It is definitely a feast for the eyes and the senses, so I recommend you check it out.

I’d like to thank Kevin Wilson of the Sacred Gallery for being extremely nice when I toured the gallery and he was very helpful to let me know more about the artists and the pieces in this great exhibit.  The Sacred Gallery is located at 424 Broadway, 2nd Floor (at Canal Street) in New York.

See another image from “Artless: The Exhibition,” after the jump.
