A rare glimpse of Prince smiling on 6/16/06 in New York
I was digging through the G photo archives today and when I found the above photo, I realized that it’s very rare to catch a glimpse of the Purple one smiling. However, when you are posing for G, how could you not bust a grin? The above and below photos were taken on June 16, 2006 when Prince was on Good Morning America. He performed “Get On The Boat” (with Sheila E.), “Redhead Stepchild” (with Tamar) and a verseless version of “Let’s Go Crazy.” I was lucky enough to be in the front row to watch my purple idol perform, and I loved every second of it. I hope the purple police do not come after me for posting these photos, because I mean only love and I own all of his albums and have bought tickets to see him in concert no less than 50 times (and every single time was life changing!)
