Buff Monster at Cotton Candy Machine in Brooklyn, NYC. Showing through September 4, 2011

New York!  Head over to the Cotton Candy Machine in Brooklyn, for not just one, but two great exhibits by Buff Monster and Jeremyville, respectively.  Cotton Candy Machine is loaded from ceiling to floor with art prints, designer and custom toys, apparel, original art as well as posters – and it’s all very reasonably priced.  Be warned, you’ll probably want to get everything as it’s all so cool!   Their latest exhibit features work from Los Angeles based artist Buff Monster and Australia’s Jeremyville.  I’ve been a big fan of Buff Monster for a long time and this was my first opportunity to see so many works by Jeremyville in person. I loved what I saw.

Jeremyville at Cotton Candy Machine. Now showing through September 4, 2011.

I spoke with both Buff Monster and Jeremyville at the opening night reception and they are both extremely cool.  Jeremyville recently moved to New York from Australia and we spoke at length about everything from adjusting to the extreme weather conditions here to some of our favorite places in Manhattan.  You can see a photo of the two artists (including Jeremyville’s amazing T-shirt “Haters Just Need a Hug,” which features Darth Vader and R2D2 hugging it out!) below.

Stay Furry!

The Cotton Candy Machine is located at 235 South 1st Street in Brooklyn (at the corner of Roebling).  They are open Tuesday to Sunday from 12 – 8 PM.  Works by Buff Monster and Jeremyville can be seen until September 4, 2011.  Don’t miss it!
