How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying
A revival of “How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying” is now showing at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre on Broadway in New York. The classic story follows window cleaner J. Pierpont Finch’s rise through the corporate ranks and as the title suggests, he succeeds in business – without really trying. The musical stars Daniel Radcliffe (of Harry Potter), John Larroquette (who won a Tony for Best Actor in a Musical) and Christopher J. Hanke. The entire cast is fantastic and for the Harry Potter fans, you’ll see an entirely different side to Daniel Radcliffe. I’ve seen all the HP movies as well as Radcliffe’s Broadway debut in “Equus” a few years ago and he’s a very versatile actor. Though he never needs to work another day in his life, if he stays with acting, he’s going to have a great career ahead of him because he is so talented.
After most Broadway shows, you can wait by the stage door and meet the actors you’ve just seen perform. If you are planning on doing this for “How To Succeed…” be warned that the crowds outside waiting to catch a glimpse of Daniel Radcliffe are akin to footage you’ve seen of Beatle-Mania – and I am not even kidding! See how I fared, after the jump.

If you’ve ever seen Adam Green (of the Moldy Peaches) live in concert, then this next sentence will not come as a shock to you. Adam Green has released a “ketamine fueled” film, shot entirely on an I-phone entitled “The Wrong Ferrari,” online. The film stars Adam Green, Macauley Caulkin, Dev Hynes (aka Lightspeed Champion), Sky Ferreria, Pete Doherty, Davendra Banhart and Har Mar Superstar. There’s no sense in telling you the plot because like most people, I’m sure I had you at Pete Doherty and Ketamine.
Apparently, Adam Green’s penis is exposed at some point in the 80 minute “screwball tragedy.” If you get there before I do, please tell us in the comments section where it can be seen. We at according2g are huge fans of male nudity!
Head over to the official The Wrong Ferrari site and take a trip!

The Temperamentals. Now Playing!
“The Temperamentals” is a play that is described as “Milk” meets “Mad Men.” For decades, it was thought that Stonewall in 1969 was the first gay activism in the United States, and this play shows that nearly 10 years prior, a group of gays in 1950 started the Mattacine Society, a group devoted to the welfare and protection of homosexuals. You’ll laugh, gasp and be so glad that this group took a stand for gay rights when it was so uncool to do so. The lead actor in “The Temperamentals” is Michael Urie (of the about-to-be-canceled show “Ugly Betty“) and he is so cute in the play that even if you are not into the gay thing, you won’t be able to take your eyes off him. Plus, if you are into the gay thing, he is shirtless in a couple of scenes! Fun fact: Urie’s character, Rudi Gernreich, was a a Hollywood costume designer and Viennese Jew who had escaped the Holocaust and who, years later, would become famous as the creator of the topless bathing suit.
The show debuts on February 28, 2010 at New World Stages located at 340 West 50th Street. Tickets can be purchased through Telecharge.
