Cloud City by Tomas Saraceno

Cloud City by Tomas Saraceno on the roof of the Met in NYC. Now through November 4, 2012

New York!  Don’t miss out on one of the highlights of the summer, visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art and heading up to the roof.  Not only do you get to see a gorgeous view of Central Park and the Manhattan skyline, but through November 4, 2012, you can see Tomas Saraceno’s “Cloud City.”  You can obtain free tickets to climb inside the structure (don’t worry, there’s a staircase inside), but those go pretty quickly, so you might want to head there first.  If you don’t go inside, don’t worry – you can still see a view such as that pictured above.

Cloud City will be on view through November 4, 2012 on the Roof of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Located at 1000 Fifth Avenue (at 82nd Street). New York, NY 10028 Phone (212)535-7710 for Hours and More Information.

You can see more pics (including the very first G spy pic in existence) on The Worley Gig.
