Pens by Kyoung Tack Hong. Now showing at Doosan Gallery in New York through November 13, 2010
When I walked into the Doosan Gallery in New York, I was immediately taken by Kyoung Tack Hong’s colorful new exhibit “Pens.” As I turned the corner of the gallery, I saw that Hong has turned Prince into art. Loving it even more is the fact that the border of the painting has the letters “F U C K” around the purple singer. The exhibit runs through November 12, 2010, so don’t miss your chance to see The Artist Currently Known Prince painted by a fine artist.
Doosan Gallery is located at 533 West 25th Street in New York.

AW77 by Osang Gwon at the Doosan Gallery in NYC thru June 5, 2010.
South Korean artist Osang Gwon has a really interesting exhibition currently showing at the Doosan Gallery in New York. The exhibition features four photo-sculptures from Gwon’s “Deodorant Type” series and it’s really unique and cool. These works are made of light weight material, such as Styrofoam and then Gwon pastes pieces of alternate images of the same object, creating a visually stunning sculpture. The below photo is a closeup of Gwon’s AW77, but it really has to be seen in person to be fully appreciated. His exhibit runs through June 5, 2010 at the Doosan Gallery in New York and is located at 523 West 25th Street.
See a couple more works by Osang Gwon after the jump.
